I just turned 21! Now I'm a full adult worldwide, not just in Canada ^.^ (Funny how I've been legal for three years up here...) Tuesday is an unfortunate day for a birthday, so it looks like no partying for me. I will go out for a nice dinner with my friends though, and of course have cake!

I'll admit I was one of those who was skeptical of Twitter at first, but after playing around with it I have to say I'm addicted. So I have two accounts:

I went in to Moncton today to see the Marilyn Manson concert and WASITEVERAWESOME!! I have been to a LOT of concerts in my life, and I think I may have to say this was the best one yet. I had floor tickets and it was standing room only, so I was nearly moshing up at the front, about 2 meters from him! I could see the individual hairs on his head OwO I also screamed and sang along so much that I now sound like a dying frog. Getting over a bad cold at the time didn't help either but meh... So worth it! I was expecting the worst out of him but thankfully he didn't do anything too obscene - spat alcohol out over the crowd, burned a bible and stuck his hand down his pants, but that's all =P Omg I saw Manson in concert I still can't believe it... *squee* Yeah I'm going to wash concertstink off me and give my throat a rest now... *dances off with ridiculous grin*

WIN! *does hardcore pose... I'll let your imagination make up what that looks like* I am now a fully privileged driver! Yayyyyyyyyy! Only the third bloody test I needed to pass in the past 5 years... Alberta's licensing system sucks. And man was that test ever picky, AKA I got docked points for flicking off my turning lights 2 seconds too late after changing lanes... With standards like that, take anyone out for an hour of scrutiny and even the best driver will nearly fail. But oh well, I freaking passed! No more tests *shakes tail*
Now of course they decided to take away my old license and give me a flimsy piece of paper to use until I get my new one... So it looks like I'll have to buy my back-to-uni party booze with my passport.

Speaking of which, I leave on the plane tomorrow. I'm really going to miss everyone here, all the new friends I've made and the old friends I spent too little time with *hugs* Keep in touch you guys! I'll be back =) Of course I'm excited to go back though. I miss my friends out there, and Sasha of course! We're spending a few extra days together before moving in, and I'm really excited ^.^ Anyways I guess I should get to packing. Hopefully more arts will fall out of my brain now that I'm not stressed with work and preparing to move back, but with the new semester looming we'll have to see. Ciao!

This has been an absolutely crazy week for me, and it's not over yet! On top of my day job and commissions in the evening like always, I've been trying to enjoy some summer fun as well.

I was able to go to the folk festival on sunday and saw Loreena McKennitt in concert! That made me extremely happy and I couldn't help buying a 4 CD pack of her works. She probably makes the most beautiful music I've ever heard. And the music didn't stop there - I just got home from a Blink 182 concert weeee! Yes, I know, my music taste is incredibly varied XD I've been a fan of these guys since I was a pup so seeing them in concert was an amazing experience. They are so talented, hilarious, and now I can say I've seen a drum solo played on a rotating platform suspended sideways 15 feet off the stage. That was definitely a first, and mindblowingly awesome =3

And now tomorrow I go backpacking in the mountains, finally getting back to the place I belong. I haven't been camping in a good while, so I'm very excited to just relax for a bit and enjoy being surrounded by silence and pure nature. Maybe I'll finally get some rest! See you guys when I get back ^.^

Anthrocon still rocks my socks off. I love this con. I had great sales, both in the art show and at my table, I went to some awesome panels, but most of all I met some fantastic people and, for the first time, ended up making some friends as well. Thanks so much to everyone who was there, the irreplacable staff, and anyone who interacted with me for even a moment. You all made this, my third con, just plain wonderful.

There is a long con report under the cut. I feel like a douche because I wrote it all out and then accidentally pressed back and lost it all. I hope its as good if not better than the original x.x Sorry this is all quite late as well, I pretty much had to go to work right after I got back so I haven't had the time to sit down and type it out.

I was waiting to cross the street on my way home from work just now and totally saw two cars collide infront of me o.o The screeching of the breaks, the way the metal crumpled like paper, and of course the sound of the crash itself... That was... kind of scary.
I don't think I'll be driving anywhere today...

Foxwolfy out!

Bailey passed on early this morning, peacefully and surrounded by her family. It came a lot sooner than I thought it would, but then again anytime would be too soon. It's hard to let go of a best friend. But she's in a better place now. We buried her out of town in her favorite place on earth, where she used to run free as the wind. She had all her favorite toys with her, and a little note that I wrote tucked under her paw. I'm going to miss the heck out of her. The house already feels empty.

Thanks to everyone who offered condolences and helped me through this hard time.

I miss you so much Bailey, and you will always have a special place in my heart.

Over the past week Bailey seemed to have been getting better. She's walking a bit, though dragging her feet badly, and eating very small portions, only babyfood, rice and some treats. She can't take stairs whatsoever so we have to carry her a lot around the house. She seems more alert than when I posted last, but is still sleeping and resting for a lot of the day. So things are good for now.

However, the vet called earlier today with the result's from Bailey's bloodtest. It appears she has advanced kidney disease that, along with all her other health problems, is quickly taking a toll on her. The vet was actually surprised she was still around with the results she had, but my Bailey is a fighter. When her condition deteriorates, which is likely to happen within the next week or two, we will have to call the vet to put her down.

So right now I'm taking every moment with her as a blessing, and I want her to be very happy and comfortable. I'm really happy that the weather has been so good lately, because she loves to lie out in the sun with the flowers. I hope it lasts for her.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and comments from my previous post. I really do believe it has been all the positive energy that has helped to keep her with us this long.

The past couple of weeks my dog Bailey has been having it rough. She's 14.5 years old now, and has a number of diseases and tumors to show for it. But today and yesterday have been incredibly rough on her. She isn't eating, barely walking and most of the time barely concious. Shes just sleeping and resting, and we're making her as comfortable as possible. But if she keeps refusing food and her condition doesn't stabilize, we will have to put her down in the next couple of days. I'm just trying to spend as much time with her as I can now. I love you, Bailey.

I just got my FC conbook in the mail today and wow am I ever flattered! I knew my piece Serenity (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1598888/) got in to the book but I didn't know that it made it onto the back cover, full bleed, full color and glossy! Thanks so much to the conbook staff, it looks excellent =)

Wow. Really All I can say right now is wow. I have to say the fandom has astounded me once more with its profound kindness, caring and generosity. I must say a thank you to Ralen-Fox, but he has not been the only one. Over my 5 years being a member of the fandom I have been overwhelmed by the kindness everyone has to offer. You don't get that in every day society. Thank you all for being so amazing, every day I am grateful for finding this wonderful community.

On a side note, spring break starts today and I'm heading out to Mexico with my lovely Astra coonie. I really can't wait to get out of this darn cold. A freak blizzard came out of nowhere a couple of days ago, probably just to give me one last period of unbearable cold before I go down south. See you all in a week!

OMG, go see The Dark Knight. It was outstanding (in my books at least). Joker was incredible. Action scenes were incredible. It was a bit on the long side, but I didn't care - I just kept wanting more anyway! It was action packed, intelligent, disturbing, and all around delicious. I highly recommend it (although be prepared for something very dark)

Just found out I lost my entrance scholarship by 0.15 GPA points... the requirement to keep was 3.7 and I was just short... Now I have to make up all that money. Oh well, I could probably cover it this summer but it would have been nice to spend it elsewhere. It was a nice chunk of cash. I still have my other scholarship though, so at least that's something.
On an up note, Sasha's coming out from NB on tuesday! Yay! We're going to the stampede together and seeing the rodeo which is going to be awesome, aswell as seeing the zoo and then spending a nice weekend in the mountains in Banff! Wheee!
