Tomorrow morning I'm leaving for AC =D I'm so excited! I'll be in the Artist's Alley as often as I can so come say hi ^.^ I'll be the table with the Ravyn plushie sitting on it, hehe. You can also spot me in my suit, which I will be in usually toward the evening.

Bailey passed on early this morning, peacefully and surrounded by her family. It came a lot sooner than I thought it would, but then again anytime would be too soon. It's hard to let go of a best friend. But she's in a better place now. We buried her out of town in her favorite place on earth, where she used to run free as the wind. She had all her favorite toys with her, and a little note that I wrote tucked under her paw. I'm going to miss the heck out of her. The house already feels empty.

Thanks to everyone who offered condolences and helped me through this hard time.

I miss you so much Bailey, and you will always have a special place in my heart.

Over the past week Bailey seemed to have been getting better. She's walking a bit, though dragging her feet badly, and eating very small portions, only babyfood, rice and some treats. She can't take stairs whatsoever so we have to carry her a lot around the house. She seems more alert than when I posted last, but is still sleeping and resting for a lot of the day. So things are good for now.

However, the vet called earlier today with the result's from Bailey's bloodtest. It appears she has advanced kidney disease that, along with all her other health problems, is quickly taking a toll on her. The vet was actually surprised she was still around with the results she had, but my Bailey is a fighter. When her condition deteriorates, which is likely to happen within the next week or two, we will have to call the vet to put her down.

So right now I'm taking every moment with her as a blessing, and I want her to be very happy and comfortable. I'm really happy that the weather has been so good lately, because she loves to lie out in the sun with the flowers. I hope it lasts for her.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and comments from my previous post. I really do believe it has been all the positive energy that has helped to keep her with us this long.

The past couple of weeks my dog Bailey has been having it rough. She's 14.5 years old now, and has a number of diseases and tumors to show for it. But today and yesterday have been incredibly rough on her. She isn't eating, barely walking and most of the time barely concious. Shes just sleeping and resting, and we're making her as comfortable as possible. But if she keeps refusing food and her condition doesn't stabilize, we will have to put her down in the next couple of days. I'm just trying to spend as much time with her as I can now. I love you, Bailey.

I just got my FC conbook in the mail today and wow am I ever flattered! I knew my piece Serenity (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1598888/) got in to the book but I didn't know that it made it onto the back cover, full bleed, full color and glossy! Thanks so much to the conbook staff, it looks excellent =)

Wow. Really All I can say right now is wow. I have to say the fandom has astounded me once more with its profound kindness, caring and generosity. I must say a thank you to Ralen-Fox, but he has not been the only one. Over my 5 years being a member of the fandom I have been overwhelmed by the kindness everyone has to offer. You don't get that in every day society. Thank you all for being so amazing, every day I am grateful for finding this wonderful community.

On a side note, spring break starts today and I'm heading out to Mexico with my lovely Astra coonie. I really can't wait to get out of this darn cold. A freak blizzard came out of nowhere a couple of days ago, probably just to give me one last period of unbearable cold before I go down south. See you all in a week!

Wow I suck at updating. Well, heres something new that I'm offering and I'm very excited about =) Prints!

I am now offering prints of virtually any piece in my galleries! If anyone is interested in a print from me they are $10 each with a flat rate of $3 shipping to North America and $5 international. No matter how many prints you buy there will be only one shipping charge on the lot. Prints will be available at any time, so if you see a drawing you like in the future the same rule applies. Oh boy I'm 20 o.o I can't believe it. Haha, now I have to take responsibility for my actions XD I may be older but I don't think I'll ever grow up - you can't make me! *clings to plushies, wags tail and arfs*

OMG, go see The Dark Knight. It was outstanding (in my books at least). Joker was incredible. Action scenes were incredible. It was a bit on the long side, but I didn't care - I just kept wanting more anyway! It was action packed, intelligent, disturbing, and all around delicious. I highly recommend it (although be prepared for something very dark)

Just found out I lost my entrance scholarship by 0.15 GPA points... the requirement to keep was 3.7 and I was just short... Now I have to make up all that money. Oh well, I could probably cover it this summer but it would have been nice to spend it elsewhere. It was a nice chunk of cash. I still have my other scholarship though, so at least that's something.
On an up note, Sasha's coming out from NB on tuesday! Yay! We're going to the stampede together and seeing the rodeo which is going to be awesome, aswell as seeing the zoo and then spending a nice weekend in the mountains in Banff! Wheee!

PCD is hitting me hard right now, cause Anthrocon was bloody amazing. One of the best times of my life. Last year doesn't even compare. My art sales were incredibly successful, 6 out of the 15 pieces I entered in the show went to voice auction and rumor has it one of them went for $245. Thats the most I've ever made on a single piece of artwork! I also had great success in the 2 days I was in the Artist's Alley.
Aswell as art, I tried to suit up as much as possible and I love my new body! It may be a little warmer than my old one but its much easier to move in and I feel much better putting it through some strain. Unfortunately though due to the added heat I couldn't dance as much as last year and had to take more breaks, but I tried to do as much as I could.
And suprisingly, I did my best to try and meet people and be as friendly and talkative as I could, despite my staggering shyness. I met a few artists and other awesome folks, and I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for making me feel welcome.
Being there, and now looking back at all the awesome times, I definitely know this is where I want to be. This is my family. I want to continue to keep in touch with people, so I'm going to try and start using YIM and AIM more often. You'll be seeing me next year for sure. *arf!*

PS: I want to expand to more than just the one con per year. Any suggestions for good cons that are pretty easy to get around a university schedule? I hesitate to take any days off...

I leave this wednesday for Pittsburgh, and should arrive at the hotel by 7pm. During the convention I'll be in Artist's Alley, and when I'm not there I'll likely be in my fursuit (which just had a major bodysuit upgrade, so I'll be able to run around and have more fun than ever!) Ok, so I've never golfed in my life, neither have I ever wanted to golf in my life. But today was the company golf tournament, so I figured meh, I need to get to know these folks better anyways. I have to say, I had a great time. I did pretty well for a first timer I think, I made a couple nice drives and even sunk the ball on a long putt for my team =D And of course, driving the cart was infinately fun. Afterward we had dinner at the club and prizes were shelled out - turns out our team won 3rd place! So I got some nice prizes from that, and on top of it they handed out draw prizes and somehow I won a tomtom GPS unit! I must have some luck...

Whew, and tomorrow is my big work day for AC! I have 3 more pieces to finish, framing my last few and making adjustments to my tail. I'm so excited! I'll be making another post before I leave on wednesday explaining what pieces I'm bringing for auction, where you'll find me etc.
